Every single person, and I mean every single person, who works at the location in Lakewood was so compassionate and so attentive, despite the obvious concern of so many pet owners and all of the emergencies coming in. It seemed like the team worked very well together and every single person was extremely competent and caring. I fully believe that our dog would not have survived if not for getting in there and being able to have her surgery within hours of walking through the door. We got to stay with our dog through the entire process and we were seeing very quickly by a vet, like within a minute. We’ve never had that experience at any other veterinarian ER clinic. The only thing that I will kind of caution people about is there is a very open concept to this ER and seeing other pets and other people going through some hard stuff is hard, but it’s definitely worth the trade off of being in waiting rooms to us for being able to stay with our pet, just as all of those people were able to stay with their pets, from the very beginning through the very end if we chose. We literally watched our dog be shaved down and intubated and put on anesthesia. We watched them help her breathe as she was under anesthesia and prepped for surgery. We were invited to watch through the window as she underwent sterile prep and surgery if we wanted to do that, too. We appreciate the transparency and competency of the entire team!

Katelyn and Dr Thaeder were both great. Each were very friendly and very kind. It seemed like both of them had a lot to do and each one of them was very attentive to everyone that was in the clinic as each one of them navigated between different clients, animals, and other tasks. Kudos to both of them!

I would leave 25 stars if I could. We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Bronsther, Alexis and the rest of the staff at VEG Littleton. We were somewhat new to the area, it was a weekend evening and we realized that we were going to have to say goodbye to our dog Mokie who had been experiencing dementia for months and declined quickly over his final week. Knowing little to nothing about VEG Littleton, we took a chance. Dr. Bronsther and every member of her staff were extremely sensitive and compassionate and made sure our little guy could pass as comfortably as possible. They provided every comfort measure to ensure that an unbearable experience felt safe, quiet and comforting. We are so grateful for the entire staff’s compassionate care and kindness. Highly highly recommend.
